Perfect Look Hair Salon

Been coming here for years. My favorite beautician has moved on to bigger and better places. I have a long ponytail. I’m a guy, btw. I asked for a trim around the ears and off the back of the neck. Military trim, just no hair cut. The new Person said $40 .00. I asked again, explaining not even having anything to do with my hair really, just a cleanup. And I said $40 isn’t even here on the chart for a haircut, looks like $35 about would be the highest for an actual haircut. Anyway, still $40. I said “Is that including the tip ? “ A few days later I saw a different young lady there as I was passing by and I stopped and she did a great job for $ 12.50. Yes. My hair goes every direction except the direction I need it to go! One side is totally different from the other, this is the stuff beauticians have nightmares about. I choose a person to trim my hedge by eye contact. If they show fear or hesitation, I go for the short trim because I know that is where it will end up anyway! For the first time in decades I saw no fear when I went into Perfect Look in McMinnville! Crystal greeted me with confidence and hope that maybe my mess could look remotely as I had always hoped it would! After a gentle wash she went to work like an artist painting a masterpiece. She definitely invested her time in getting as close to the mark I set as possible and for the first time in over 20 years I looked in the mirror and loved what I saw!

Original Post: 07JUL2023 - Please see attached pictures showing the cut I received. I had a scheduled appointment, went in and had to wait a bit but that's okay, I get it. I don't mind waiting a bit in a busy salon. Then the stylist brings me back, I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she said "no problem." Apparently blow & style isn't included in the $45 charge and I have naturally wavy hair so it wasn't obvious how bad the cut was until I styled it at home. I cried. To add insult to injury, the salon's regional manager has not returned any of my many calls to discuss a refund. The manager at Perfect Look told me it's not their policy to give refunds and I find that just appalling given the poorly executed haircut I received. I even tipped the stylist so I'm out a total of $60.

Cathy did my hair this morning, and it was not good AT ALL. She did not cut my hair the way I asked, and frequently forgot everything. She made my hair choppy, and uneven. She also did not cut my bangs the way I asked or anyone would ask. Would never come here again. I’m sad and my beautiful hair is ruined forever. Terrible experience.

So to be clear, that making an appointment on their website is seems easy, but does not communicate with the establishment. CALL THEM! When I 1st made an appointment, I was disappointed because after the consultation, Christi realized that there would not be another time to complete the full service. I tried to reschedule online again, but it wouldn't allow me to choose my stylist, but maybe it was my fault. Calling the salon and being scheduled with Angie was super easy. Sad to say that Angie had to call out and I was rescheduled back to Christi, but at an earlier time so I was happy that there would be adequate time.
