I've been coming to Pinky Nails for 15 years and there's no other salon in Montclair that comes close to the unique experience Jessica and her staff provides. The salon is beautiful, clean and comfortable with such a variety of manicure/pedicure options. But what really sets Pinky Nails apart is the personable experience I receive consistently every time Im there. Everyone there is hardworking, friendly and there is a warmth and coziness you just don't find anywhere else these days. I have been bringing my daughters here since they were 2 years old and it has become such a family experience, even my hubby enjoys coming too! From massage, to waxing and of course mani/pedi's, they do it all and they do it the BEST. We love Pinky Nails and you will definitely love them too!

I have gone to this nail salon consistently for the last 18 years, weekly. It’s clean, the prices are completely competitive compared to all neighboring nail salons, and honestly the women who work here are basically like family at this point. I have never seen a single person treated poorly here unless they are speaking to the staff in a degrading manner.

I have been going to Pinky nails for about 8/9 years and I have noticed the service and quality of work significantly decline. It is at the point now that it is not worth spending my money here. Do not come here, as the service and work does not justify the price. I went to Pinky nails to get a simple regular pedicure, but returned to have it fixed because the polish used was extremely thin and not what I paid for. When I returned the owner had a horrible attitude and argued with me about fixing my nails. Her work was sloppy on top of the polish still being thin despite applying three coats. There are better nail salons in the area for a more reasonable price and better service.

I don’t get my nails done regularly so I don’t have a nail shop I’m loyal to. Decided to stop in after work because a coworker recommended. It was 3 in the afternoon on a Monday so I was seen right away. I just wanted a regular pedicure for an upcoming trip. This was probably THE BEST pedicure I received so far. I had to ask and make sure I wasn’t being charged for a spa pedicure because the experience was great!

AVOID if you want quality designs and respect! Waited an extra 30 minutes for particular nail designer, only for a nail tech to do my nails. The first one had no idea how to do any type of nail art, and actually just got up and left when I showed her the photo. Eventually another nail tech sat down and tried to do the nail art. While she did her best, it was absolutely nothing like the photo. And this wasn't an extravagant ask either. Just a two-tone French manicure which is pretty standard these days. And the actual nail designers at the salon tended to clients whose appointments were at least 30 minutes after mine, never once checked in with the nail tech or with me on the design. Almost $70 w/tip on amateur nails and terrible customer service.
