This barbershop is a South Providence landmark. Owned and operated by Mrs. Dot, one of the best stylist in all of New England. I have been going to her since the 1980's. Her business is old school. No cussing, no fighting, nothing illegal in the business. A mother, a grandmother to dozens of customers for decades. Some of her clients children now have children and they come to see Mrs. Dot. I've not lived in Rhode Island since 1991, but every time I come to town (usually once a year) I stop in to let Mrs. Dot hook me up. She loves the community and is admired as a stylist and a community treasure. She's normally there around 11:00 and busy til she closes. So, bring something to read, get there early and enjoy.
