I called and spoke to the owner and sent in pictures of what I wanted she assured me we could do it then scheduled me with stylist: Emma. I got to my appt 15mins early and we didn’t start on my hair until almost 45mins after my scheduled appt. I spoke with the stylist and told her as well as showed her what u wanted she assured me it could be done. After almost 4hrs of processing my hair was left a mess. I went home and reached out to the owner 2 days later and told her and sent her pictures of what it looked like and she offered to fix it the next day. I told her that I lived 2hrs away and me going in the middle of the day wasn’t an option on top of the fact that it was birthday and I ended up getting it fixed with someone else because of timing and distance. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS SALON! BEST HAIRCUT OF MY L I F E! I've been going to generic hair cut places all my life and finally decided i was done hating my hair every time it was cut, so I went to Amanda at Positive Beauty after seeing a coworker's hair (which was amazing!) I've never been in love with my hair until today. I'm so sad that I've spent years not knowing I could look this good. Amanda was my stylist and she was sweet, funny, and very understanding of my concerns and seemed to actually listen to my requests. She even gave me tips on how to style my hair the way she did so I could try myself. And the price? So cheap compared to literally any other salon I've looked into. I will be coming back here for every cut/style/etc from here on out. I highly suggest you do the same! ♡

If you have any doubt or worry about coming to this salon with curly textured hair, stop what you are doing and RUN not walk to this Salon. I had the pleasure of booking with Julia after seeing very positive reviews and I was not dissapointed. I have had terrible experiences in the past where I am shamed almost for my thick wavy red hair and have always been told it was very damaged. Julia took one look and reassured me that was not the case. I have never had any person bring out my natural curls in my entire 25 years and she did it with complete ease.
