I have been getting my hair done by Danni for the past year. Consistently, she is very kind and friendly, gives alot of feedback and advice on keeping your locs healthy. I get loc retwists and maintenances, hydration treatments, and hot oil treatments. The services are always done so well. My retwists last the longest they have ever lasted — even when I wash my hair! My favorite part is that the hairwashing is included and the hair washing chair doubles as a massage chair.

Aaliyah is the best hairstylist I've ever had. Hair has grown 5-6 inches since Aaliyah started doing my silk presses and keratin treatments a year and a half ago. Her skills speak for themselves so go check Aaliyah out you won't be dissappointed!

I had a great experience at Potent Transitions. Aaliyah is extremely helpful with addressing my hair loss concerns and recommended amazing products that significantly improved my hair’s moisture. The Proplex treatments are a must. I’ve seen a noticeable difference. Great package deals! Highly recommend especially if you care about your hairs health. She takes afterpay!!!

Personally, I wouldn't recommend. Pros: 1. I booked for a silk press w/trim. Aaliyah let me know a trim wasn’t necessary and explained that my breakage just needed to grow out. I really appreciated her honesty instead of charging me for something I didn’t need 2. Aaliyah was kind and polite 3. I was able to book a same-day appointment, which was convenient Cons: 1. The blow dry process was a mess. She used the brush starting at my roots. Generally, I think it's common knowledge to start ends to roots when brushing natural hair. That rule didn't apply here. There was tugging throughout the entire blow-dry proccess 2. Again, during the silk press process Aaliyah used a fine tooth comb from roots to end on every section before straightening it.
