My best friend and I visited Primp and Polish while on vacation in New York, and we were blown away. I have to start by shouting out Natalie, an incredibly talented nail artist whose work I absolutely love. She’s creative, meticulous, and has an incredible eye for design. You can give her a general theme or idea, and she’ll bring it to life with thoughtful, stunning detail. Every set she creates feels like a work of art. I was shoved into the role of caretaker when my fiancé was unexpectedly diagnosed with an aggressive high-stage cancer less than a month ago, and the universe forced our wedding plans to get cancelled so we could do a quick courthouse ceremony just for the legal aspect. I’ve been a loyal customer for over a decade, and Lisa is hands down the best nail tech I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail and consistency are unmatched. I always leave feeling happy. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Mina and Chiew over the years, and they’re both incredibly talented as well.

I’m sorry, this nail tech was really sweet and apologetic but these do not look good. To be fair she tried to redo them but I would have preferred a new nail tech to fix them. The problem is she didn’t file down the nail bed so it was uneven to start. Result is goopy and uneven. I’m sure there’s good nail techs here but after today it seems like a roll of the dice if you’re going for the first time. For an $80 manicure it would’ve been nice to walk out loving them, not the case for me.

I haven’t had nail art on my own nails in a very long time. Today Chiew did an amazing job. She took a small/simple idea and created this fun eye catching masterpiece! I’m in love 😍 thank you!
