Princess Hair Pizzazz

I normally don’t leave reviews like this but my voice needs to be heard. My experience yesterday was not good at all. I booked an appointment with Dimee for my child for scalp braids no added hair. After she washed my child’s hair she began to comb her hair. She was combing her hair extremely hard from the root. Pulling at her hair. My child was crying with tears coming down her eyes. When I saw this I said to her “ You are combing too hard” Her response was” Well, she has a lot a hair and she needs a trim”. She then proceeds to tell me “She has a lot more hair than her sisters”. This does not justify you to comb her hair so hair that she is crying! Especially with a hot blow dryer. Her response to me, her attitude and her demeanor was very mean spirited and didn’t make me or my child feel

$155 for this hair style is ridiculous I didn’t realize I’d paid $79 deposit, until after my visit. Overcharging is an understatement The prices aren’t kid friendly at all. This will be our last visit. Call the shop to make sure it wasn’t a mistake. They didn’t care, I was serviced at the Cumberland location.

I saw there were a kids salon near me (Cumberland ) I normally don’t leave reviews but I was highly disappointed with our experience at this kids’ salon. The staff did not seem patient or child-friendly, which is extremely important to me in a place that I thought would caters to young children. The overall atmosphere felt unprofessional, and my child left feeling upset instead of confident and happy. I expected a much higher level of care and respect. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this salon to other parents. This was a very unprofessional experience. Unprofessional staff and a bad experience for my child. 10/10 experience from price to atmosphere. My daughter felt so comfortable. The staff was friendly and personable and professional. I considered a different shop but the energy was just different and prices for a child’s hair was crazy. I am so glad we ended up here and will continue to come.

Horrible experience! I will say this it wasn’t all their fault as my daughter isn’t that cooperative when it comes to getting her hair done. However, they could have done a better job with handling the situation instead of being quick to throw in the towel. Shay was my hairstylist and I am guessing she just wasn’t in a good mood today. I caught myself every time she started to say something that was smart.
