other then being quick and getting you in and out, not worth the money. I was charged over $400 for med waist length twists. I …… i left with small, med, large, and jumbo sized twist in my head. I told her about it and she gave every excuse as to why my head did not look good. first I was to natural, then she said she did them smaller in the back because no one can see it and she added less hair due to them being in that back so they are small…. (Hair should be one size all around but okay) then she said she parted my hair the way she did so I could do a middle or side part but the way my hair is parted in the front, there is no way to have a mid part. the parts in the front is zig zag and not even straight. If you’re looking for a fast braider that will have you in and out then this is the place. Other than that the prices are higher compared to other braiders in the area. The sizes of braids are not consistent, I asked for small boho braids and I got medium. I was charged $450 for “small” and $100 deposit.

This was a complete Rip off experience Owner / Braider Lori Hampton Va on Jefferson. She will cheat you out of your money.I’m new to getting my hair braided. So, guess what she did…. Charged me $300 dollars. Mind you I just took braids out that were longer and less in cost. I got knotless shorter and smaller in size. She was very unprofessional. I hate doing this !!! However…I also asked her for natural hair/ wet and wavy. So that my hair could be curly at the end of the braids. She told me that she would dip in hot water with rods on it. Never again!!! lol she charged me for deposit of $50. Then when she finished,cost was $300. How when I asked her was the $50 suppose to be taken off of the cost. She told me yes. Well, it was not … lol

I will not be going back. I called prior and was told to come at 5, I was there 10 minutes early and they let me know they were running behind which was fine. I waited about 40 minutes for them to do a 10 minute style. I just wanted two tight braids from the front with my natural hair down the middle and I was charged $45. Not to mention I was told over the phone it would be $35 and now the prices changes?? My hair is not thick at all. And my middle part isn’t right, it’s clear as day that it ain’t straight. I feel like I was “got” for sure. The interior was pretty and they seemed nice but definitely felt taken advantage of.

I got medium box braids yesterday and I am so impressed. The shop is nice, clean, and has a nice atmosphere. It only took three hours to get my hair braided and my braids turned out beautiful. I couldn't be happier. If you want to get your hair braided, I highly recommend this place!
