Professional Nails

Not welcome as a walk in. Unfortunate. Nails were done and look good but staff and customers were not friendly. One customer interrupted nail technician to schedule her appointments for next 3 month, one customer told me i needed to tip, one customer told me how lucky I was to be in shop. Nail tech wasn't happy I just walked in It has been a while, but I have been here before. Atmosphere was much nicer back then. Not the same now. Staff were not welcoming and, oh my goodness, existing customers will make you feel not welcome. I choose not to return.

I've been to many manicure and pedicure shops over a 20-year span while living here in Virginia Beach, and have never experienced a place like Professional Nails. I've been going here for over a year now and have not experienced anything but the best customer service and exceptional professional knowledge ever. Oh, did I mention the price which is unbelievable as well. Try it out, you won't be disappointed!!! Not too many things surprise me anymore, but I must say walking into this establishment gave me a feeling of discrimination which was deeply distressing. I was requesting services for my 13 year old granddaughter. We were immediately told, we’re booked. It was early afternoon with one patron in the establishment. I was going next door and thought it would be a nice treat for her. What infuriated me most is during the hour and half, only one person (a black young lady), walked in requesting service and she was also denied. The salon remained empty, clearing indicating, we don’t serve your kind. I prefer not to give my money to a bunch of bigots but discrimination has no place in business! I have been a customer of Professional Nails for 20+ years. I moved to TN for a while, and during that time, I could not find nail technicians who even came close to the skills and knowledge the technicians at Professional Nails have. Michelle, Tom, and Kim's work exceed expectations. They go above and beyond, providing quality customer service. They have a well established clientele, so make an appointment if you want to experience the best mani, pedi in Va Beach!

Love that they are still doing silk wrap. Always my fave. This place has been in business for 25 years and they can't take walk ins. They have an established client base. If you want a service here call and make an appointment and they will fit you in. Don't leave a childish review because you weren't served on your schedule. Not everything is about you KAREN!!!
