Pure the Salon and Spa

I’ve been coming to Pure for my 3 week color touch ups, highlights, and cuts for the last 3 + years. I’ve had two other wonderful stylists, Sarah and Caroline who moved out of state. The transition to a new stylist has always been seamless, My current stylist, Alana, is one of the most experienced, gifted, and personable stylists I’ve ever had - anywhere. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with owner, Nicole, on site most days working with clients. Can’t wait for what’s next!

Nicole has been cutting my hair for years, and when she moved to Pure, I followed her without hesitation. I trust her completely with my hair because she consistently makes me look as good as I possibly can. After years of me having the exact same haircut, she was actually the one who convinced me to switch things up — and it was a good decisions. She has an incredible eye for what works and the confidence to guide you toward a look that truly suits you. From the moment you walk in, you’re warmly greeted and offered something to drink while you wait — or even while you’re getting your haircut. The salon is always spotless and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone who works there has a genuinely positive attitude, which makes every visit relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommen

Chaotic mess and energy, memories of 2000's Chelsea NY. Get in, find your gal, talk, snip "no way, he wouldn't" but he did. Snip snip. Rincé. Join me in Europe -scooter is there, you remember him from a musical in Atlanta-or was it Shanghai, . A little but it was the Covid separations via zoom w crafts and cooking and mixing drinks on a screen. So we all have something in common. Luxembourg and kinky boots and cakes running across New York and hair and make up and Bentonville. How is this world so small yet so full of fabulous and douchey self-serious finance boys and snarky bartender women still searching for that elusive meaning they lived through too soon before they realized it was gone. But what is this. What is this?

This was my first salon experience since moving to Arkansas four months ago. Having curly hair, it is hard to find stylists who not only have experience with cutting curly hair, but have a passion and excitement for it AND do it well. After reading Alana’s bio, I knew she was who I wanted to work with. She did an incredible job and did not shy away from giving me a cut that was fun, sassy, and easy to maintain. It’s obvious that, for her, cutting hair isn’t a “job” - it is taking care of people and there is a palpable joy as she does it. She took her time as she washed through my hair and told me to take a nap as my conditioning treatment did its job. Having just recently had a baby, I felt pampered and definitely received spa treatment. It was amazing! Not only was my haircut experience

Alana was my stylist for over a year. As long as I didn’t say anything critical. I was unhappy with last cut. Showed her pictures and talked before cutting. Wasn’t what I wanted and I expressed that to her. We booked my next appointment, I paid and tipped! The owner? called me 2 weeks later and told me Alana did not think she was right for me, suggesting I try a different stylist! Apparently no criticism is tolerated! So unprofessional!
