Q Nails

If I could give a negative star review, I would. I decided to come here last minute to get my acrylic nails refilled because I live 5 minutes away and it was convenient. It was a Friday around 5pm I called them to schedule and they told me to come right in. They close at 7:30pm as per website but as I was getting my nails done they were rushing as though they were closing early. I decided I was going to also get my pedicure and even bought one of the fancy pedicure packages they were so eager to get me to buy. Not even 2 days later one of my nails broke off. I came in on Monday and they charged me an additional $5 to fix my nails. It is now Wednesday and nail #2 broke off. I want to start by saying I never leave reviews this is my first. This Nail spot is the absolute worst. I had a bad experience with pricing on a pedicure a year ago(& vowed to never go again) but last night I just wanted to get out of the house. I went to Q nails because it’s close to my home. I asked for acrylic, she ignored me and did powder and dipped my nails only twice. I’ve previously done powder and typically dipped 3-4 times. Long story short I paid $48 and woke up this morning showered and when I got out I noticed the “Gel” polish was peeling on both thumbs and on other nails had air pockets. I’m beyond furious. This business should be ashamed.

First, the ladies here are very nice and I wasn’t actively in pain. However, don’t expect to get what you want here. I had my pedicure done first (regular polish) and I wanted my manicure to be a complimentary gradient. The stylist argued with me and said that my nails aren’t long enough for two colors. We went back and forth and I gave in. Bad on me. Then as she was doing my powder dip nails, I noticed how dark the color was and said I didn’t want it that dark. She insisted that it matched my pedicure. Please look at the picture to see my fingers and toes side by side. Definitely NOT a match. Finally, the nails themselves look ok, but the edges are a mess. That, combined with the very dark color, makes it look like all of my nail beds are inflamed. It looks gross. People have asked me if

First of all, this is not a fancy place. If you’re looking for that uppity, spa-water, soft-jazz vibe — this ain’t it, baby. 😂 I’ve been seeing May for pedicures and massages since I was 15 — and I’m now 37. That’s it. That’s the review. It speaks for itself. 😂 Can’t vouch for the manicures or acrylics though, hunny — I go somewhere else for that. 💅🏽

first off i want to say i don’t leave bad reviews because i respect people’s businesses . but this one time i had too. i went in around 6:05 closing time is 7:30 so it was nobody inside i asked for a regular (white) manicure. she does a great job with cleaning up the nails but when it came to painting the nails she did horrible the sides of my nails wasn’t properly cleaned and the nail polish wasnt fully coated on my nails. i was very frustrated with myself for not telling her exactly how i felt, sorry but there not seeing me again $12 isn’t bad at all tho.
