If they ask you "can anybody cut your hair?" Dont say yes. They gave me a guy who thought it was best to cut my hair dry (1st mistake), i asked for a trim and he literally chopped OFF my hair, i showed him two pictures and he thought layers means "lets give two lengths of hair" Now my dark hair is severely shorter than my bleached hair. I was nice about it but you absolutely ruined my hairstyle and now i have to wait 6 months or more for it to grow back. Its not even on both sides either! If you don't know how to cut a woman's hair then DONT DO IT!

After bleaching my hair a lot, I wanted to dye a color so my hair color would be more even. The stylist said i could still do a purple hair and it came out super nice! On unbleached hair it’s more brown with a hint of purple and the bleached ends is brighter purple. Really pleased with the results

I have been coming to this salon on Kissena for many years. Do I speak any Chinese? No. Do they speak English? A little bit— mainly the words cut, wash, and layers. Do I enjoy my time here and the results each time? Absolutely. $25 for a wash and cut, you cannot beat that price. This is my favorite place in all of New York City to cut my hair for quality and pricing. There is a language barrier, but it’s nothing to be too worried of. I’m mainly writing this because they’ve been in business for so long (and are busy usually) yet I barely see any reviews. The lady who washed my hair was SO SWEET. I told them i wanted a trim, but one of the barbers cut my hair short as hell. Like I said, all i wanted was to trim it, cut my hair alittle shorter, said it two times but he chopped more than half of my hair. I would not recommend comming to this salon.
