Queen African Hair Braiding

I went on Sunday with an appointment and the communication with the shop was great. All the ladies were polite and wonderful. I unfortunately did not catch the name of the two ladies that worked on my hair, but they had me in and out in about 4 hours for medium knotless box braids mid back length. The environment was extremely welcoming and pleasant. Thank you guys for the hard work and amazing customer service. I will be returning for future braiding.

Despite the long wait time, I am pleased with my hair and the hairstyle the stylist did. Lizzie is one of the fastest bruisers at that shop and she made me feel so wonderful and respected my time. Lizzie was very professional and needs to be a permanent stylist at the shop. She has so much talent and I loved her professionalism. When I return I want Lizzie to do my braids again!! Very pleased with her service she needs a raise!!!

My daughter got her hair braided today by Queen and I will honestly say this was a bad experience. She started with saying that she was going to charge my daughter $320, but charged her for $260 for a mid back length box braid style but came out to be shoulder length instead. It honestly felt like she overcharged and tried to extremely overcharge on a length for a basic style. I do not recommend booking an appointment here, it was unprofessional and not a good place to be serviced in.

I was honestly hoping for the best with this one but it turned out just okay. I paid 280 for this and it was not worth it unfortunately. The owner said that they could charge more. I brought my own hair as well but they said “this hair is difficult to do knotless” so that was the price. In my personal opinion that sounds like a hustle. Another customer there got charged the same price as me and got her hair provided. I asked for medium size and got very skinny braids, with large size ones in the back. It’s so disappointing. Not to mention that it came out uneven. The lady that did my style was very fast and I appreciated that. The staff was also kind which is why I’m not leaving 1 star. However the lady did not really take the time to check my hair or do typical hot steam or anything after

Queen took such good care of my daughter. This is the best my baby girl's hair has ever looked. She wanted Disney's Wish Asha braids and all Queen needed was a picture. Her parts are immaculate. She also made special care to listen to mom's concerns and took all of her suggestions to heart. She really made sure that my daughter got what she wanted while not stepping on my wife's toes! Definitely will be coming back and making this our braiding home!
