I’m going to be COMPLETELY HONEST: I ONLY go to this place as a LAST RESORT! I typically go late in the day around 2p-4p. They’ve ALWAYS got me in and out in less than 4hrs 🙌 (but I don’t get any fancy styles/braids). I just keep it simple like individuals (especially when I had pixie haircut length hair) or my natural hair in individuals (to do miracles knots in my own hair.) THE REASON BEING: They 👏Are 👏Funny👏When 👏 It 👏Comes👏To👏PRICING!!!!!!! They may quote you ONE price over the phone (if they even quote you a price over the phone 😩) but it’ll QUICKLY change once you get there! COME WITH CASH IN HAND!!! Honestly, my experience was a bit frustrating. For one, I came with my hair washed , yet they claimed it wasn’t and I got charged an extra 10. Not to mention waiting almost 3 hours to get a stylist, plus a stall of 10 minutes for them to look at the picture and figure out how to do it (which was fine). Next, I’m sure I told my stylist that I was tender headed but she clearly did not understand (which was fine, her English was not good), but she handled my hair very roughly and she braided too roughly/tightly, leaving me in a great deal of discomfort. Then finally, before I say this I want to mention: your braiders have a lot of skill and talent, not to mention being able to get it done quickly and efficiently! First time at a braiding shop and it was a great experience. I usually do my own hair but decided to try Bora Bora braids in a new color I was hesitant about. The stylist was friendly, listened to me, and my braids came out neat and beautiful. The process took about 4.5 hours and was well worth it. I’d definitely recommend.

Amazing service and very kind people. I absolutely recommend. My braids are beautifully done! Clean parts, clean braids, and quick service. I was even able to get the color I wanted in shop. The walk in service really saved me. I was scrambling when my usual braider unfortunately got sick and needed to cancel right before my vacation. Then I found this place. I went today on a week day and I had no wait time. I can’t thank these wonderful ladies enough.

I really didn’t want to write anything because I had a good experience before this but I had to take down my braids the day after I got them done; very inconvenient, not what you’d want. I walked into the salon this past Saturday and showed a picture of what I wanted. They took me to the owner so I could show her because the girl I showed it to didn’t understand it and that was fine. They spent a minute troubleshooting it, I sat down and waited for a braider to be available to do my hair, no worries. I get someone to do my hair 2 hours later, I sit in the chair and they asked me to show them the picture which I did. I should’ve listened to my gut and left but I sat through.
