My husband gave this place a chance to do his locks and they did a terrible job. The style looks like it was done for over a week already when it was supposed to look freshly done. Then they tried to charge 170 and tell him it looked nice. Terrible. He paid 150 and now has to pay for it to be redone. Do not go here

I found them last minute when my other appointment cancelled. I had an okay experience here but there were some drawbacks for me. Pros- All the ladies were very polite. I called in advance. They were very accommodating. There wasn't a long wait to be seen and the woman who braided my hair was really nice. Cons- 1. It was a thousand degrees in there. No AC. It was hotter in the shop than outside. While they had fans, it was extremely hard to bare, especially sitting in a leather seat, for 4 hours. 2. The price. Much like many other shops, they withheld the price from me when I asked initially and waited until my hair was done to tell me. After almost 20 years of locs, I cut them off 2 years ago. Wanted to regrow and begin anew. Chile, the braiding game isn't what it used to be. Once upon a time, you got what you requested and paid for. Now folks want to give you any old thing after having you sit for hours. I have reached my limit of throwing away money to a braiding shop. Frustrated is not even the word. The audacity and disrespect to get up out of a chair after several hours and have thin braids. I specifically said waist length and had a picture showing how full it should have been. The middle and ends of my braids look NOTHING like the beginning of my braids. I have been to Queen Kande 3 times now. They are always extremely quick and professional, and offer excellent service! They make sure the parts are straight, and the braids always come out very nice. The shop is beautiful and clean. I highly recommend them!
