I literally just walked out of the salon and I'm always in love with my hair and impressed with Shunise. She knows what she is doing, taking care to be sure she on the right track. She is professional. All you need is to talk to her about any concerns. My hair is thin in my cowlick area. We discussed it and she took my voice seriously and did an amazing job. I feel like a million bucks and look like it too. I have already received a few "fans" on my journey home.

I’ve had my hair braided here 5 times by Shunise. The first experience was great but every experience after she decided to cut corners and lessen the amount of hair/braids. My last appointment (10/15/24) was over in 2 hours, it takes about 4 hours to complete my hair so that was the first red flag. Keep in mind I have a Mohawk so if you lessen the amount of braids the outcome is more noticeable than a client with a full set of hair. She proudly stated you have so much extra hair left and she only used one pack. My hair takes about 3 packs. I don’t need a stock of extra hair, it’s purchased to be used. When I voiced my concerns she stated that I should inform her if I wanted more braids and that some packs have more or less hair. I always purchase the same brand of hair and regardless if th

I have had one of the best experiences getting my hair done at Ready Set Braid ! Not only does Shunise have a welcoming and warm personality but she gets you in and out in a very timely manner. Hair technician for ready set broad has been doing my hair for the past six years. She is fast and efficient. My hair has been braided on and off for the last 20+ years and have had success with all the braiders. However, once I found Shaunise, I never have to look for another hairstylist. I love that she braids my hair perfectly and most importantly quickly! I can make an appointment in the morning and be home in the afternoon. She is prompt, professional and accommodating.
