I found Red Chair studio recently and got a great consultation for a hair color and a haircut Uri did an exceptional job. I was super happy love my color and the haircut very friendly environment. Very cozy neighborhood salon I highly recommend. I will definitely go back.

I have been so happy with Red Chair Studio. URI has cut or trimmed my hair for over a decade. It really knows how to handle thick, curly hair. But I’ve also seen stunning results with others either different hair textures. The prices are reasonable, especially for the Upper Eastside. And there’s a level of comfort and friendliness that is ever present.

We have been coming to red chair studio since we’ve moved to the neighborhood. Everyone is so happy and friendly. Uri, has been cutting for my daughter and I and we have always had a great time and experience. He’s always so friendly and professional. We always walk out very happy with our cuts and styles! It’s been incredible for us. And easy it being so close in the neighborhood. Would recommend !

Finding a hairdresser who understands curly/wavy hair and keeps it low-maintenance feels almost impossible --- but I found one. Uri, the owner of Red Chair Studio, gives me cuts that actually work with my hair. I can shower, shake it out, and it falls into place without products or fuss. He also takes the time to listen to what I want, always does a great job, and somehow makes the whole appointment easy and enjoyable. Kind, funny, a great conversationalist --- and very reasonably priced. Been going there for 20+ years and I leave happy every single time. Feel lucky to have found him!

I have been coming here for 4 years - I moved to Harlem from the Upper East Side two years ago can come back here just so Natasha can cut my hair. Affordable and top of the line hair cuts. Truly the best!
