This took me forever to write because I could not remember the name of the nail salon for the life of me, but I just want to say that this was THE BEST nail salon experience I have had in all of New York City. First I want to say that I had no appointment and was in a rush to get my nails done, and the entire team was so accommodating and hospitable. I got a gel manicure from Sarah and she is the absolute best. Not only was she precise, careful, paid attention to detail, but she took the time to make sure the length, shape, and color was exactly what I wanted. She was incredibly patient when I was indecisive about colors and let me try different combinations out until it was something I truly loved. I love this nail salon! The owner and the women who work there always make we feel so welcomed. I come in for my builder gel that last me 4 weeks no chipping which I need because I’m hard on my hands. The pedicures I’ve experienced have always been great. I usually get a standard pedicure but this last time I upgraded to a scrub and 10 minute massage and WOW! That was a game changer! I love this shop and you have to I try them. && if you enjoy them as much as I do leave a review and send them some love.

A few comments for this place: 1) just for UV gel filled and I have cuts all around my nails from the lady filing and cutting and scratching my nail beds and finger tips. Ouch 2) it looks like there are little bubbles on my nail 3) the gel looks messy and unorganized 4) some nails are round and some are pointy 5) overall I’m going to have to get this redone, this is horrible 6) to do the original UV gel application without extension is $130. Apparently it costs the exact same if I got an extension. But then to do a UV gel filling it is $85 and an extra $10 for EACH broken nail that you need to an extension for…. What??? This makes no sense 7) only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that most of the women are nice and they have a non-toxic gel which is pretty cool 8) oh also I didn’

I ’ve been to this place once before and had a great experience. I went again today and had a new woman, and am very disappointed by the service and result. First, I asked for a rounded square shape, maybe not the correct term but she then gave me pointy tips like claws, which wasn’t an easy shape to turn back into square, so now now it looks weird and overall uneven. More importantly, she did not clean up my cuticles/areas around my nails at all. That is the main reason I go to get my nails done rather than doing it myself. Also, I know most places don’t really do the hand massages anymore but they still choose to advertise that they do it as part of the price, and she didn’t do it so had to mention it. Held back on reviewing because I want to gatekeep… but Sarah is a Godsend. In my 8 years in NY, I’ve never gone to a nail salon more than once. That’s changed since Sarah. I’ve found my go-to place with her. She’s incredibly precise and gifted - she gets the inspo I bring, every single time.. except it’s better. TLDR; just look at her work!
