Relax Nails

Unfortunately this was the worst nail experience my friend and I have ever had. We called for a last minute appt and they were available, so we went over. While friendly, they actually have no business painting nails. 1. They did not soak off our existing gel, they power-filed it off completely. 2. While painting, they used way too much polish and did not clean up before curing, thus leading to chunky, uneven, messy coloring. 3. The nail polish was old and of poor quality. It painted on unevenly, the texture was off, and it’s splotchy/bumpy. Coloring is splotchy and uneven. 4. My friend had a tip added to a broken nail and the tip was never shaped, so it looks awful. 5. We got our nails done yesterday and most of them cracked and chipped within an hour of leaving the salon. 6. The filing

The most simple nails you could ask for yet they weren’t properly done. The polka dots are randomly placed with no coordination. I asked for almond and he gave me stiletto until I asked Jimmy to change it. Which made the length I wanted to be shorter than asked. Spend your money elsewhere to someone who cares about the process.

I just got my nails done and I’m so happy with the service! They always have 20% off on all services, which makes the prices even better. The price was perfect, the quality was great, and they got me in and out quickly without feeling rushed. I love how efficient and professional they are. Definitely recommend!

What happened to this place? It used to be vibrant, busy, with endless selection in nail colors, tips, techniques, etc. it’s remodeled and practically empty. Hardly anyone working in there and hardly any clients. Nail techs don’t have a professional set up and make you rest your hands on jars of acrylic powder. Not to mention the tables aren’t clean and the polish/gel selection is either expired or low quality. The salon can’t control the neighborhood, but several homeless and drug addicts standing outside and entering the salon causing a ruckus. Really sad to see this place go downhill, it used to be one of my favorite salons in the SLC area about 4 years ago.

Sarah did my nails and Anna did my toes. They were efficient and very patient. I loved their service and relax nails is awesome in general! Don't miss out!
