Relaxed Nails Spa

Came in for an acrylic removal which took almost an hour. 3 different techs left to go do someone else’s nails and left my nails soaking for 20 minutes. Finally, one of the techs who left earlier came back to finish my nails and clipped one so badly the nail itself ripped. However she said nothing and upon me asking she continued to not acknowledge the nail. Then charged me $15 when there are still parts of the acrylic nail on my hand. Upon me asking the employee in the front why I was being charged $15 for a service that wasn’t even completed and left my nails dry and damaged, I could only receive a shrug and sorry. Terrible service and terrible outcome.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warrants one. I came in for a gel manicure and was extremely disappointed by the quality and care of the service. The nail prep was poorly done — old polish was left on my nails and painted over, which resulted in visible bubbles, uneven texture, and a sloppy finish. During the service, I was cut twice. What was most concerning was that neither cut was acknowledged or addressed. I had to specifically ask for antiseptic to be applied to prevent infection. The technician appeared surprised and even chuckled, commenting that I “knew what I was doing,” which was frustrating — cleaning cuts during a manicure is basic sanitation, not client expertise. Probably the worst pedicure I ever recieved and I wish I stopped her. I asked for acrylic and a French and really square and the photo is a week after my pedicure, she never really got my dead skin off and I paid about $70 including a really good tip. Not even the color I chose or the concept. Still dead skin on my feet.

I’ve been going here for years but had a manicure today that left multiple fingers bleeding and in pain still hours later. The technician rushed through the manicure, leaving injuries on three fingers, and did a poor polish job, leaving my nails looking like they were grown out right when I left the salon. If you choose to go here, be careful about which technician you go to.

I've been going here for a couple of years now and the service has always been great. My gel pedicure has always been $37. If they have to remove gel it's $10 but I've never had to have gel removed. I went in for a gel pedi with gel removal yesterday and the final cost was $60! Mind you, the tech, while very nice and courteous, didn't even remove all my calluses. At no point during the hour and 15 minutes I was there was I told the price changed. I understand that businesses have to raise prices periodically but to not tell customers about a $23 price hike is unacceptable. And charging $60 for a pedicure that doesn't even leave you with smooth feet is obscene. The only reason they even get 1 star is because of my previous positive experiences with them.
