Awesome experience! I’m always so terrified of getting haircuts because I have had so many bad experiences. I think my stylist’s name was Erin? She had short red hair and she was so nice and my haircut came out great! Knows how to cut wavy hair properly, takes into account the lift when dry. I’ll probably be making this my regular hair salon. Great price too! Edit: 4 months later. Got another haircut here. Still amazing service. Once I find out the name of the lady who cut my hair, I’ll include it. She was awesome!

Kat was superb with my hair cut. It's been difficult to find a good salon with experienced stylists in San Antonio. I'm so glad I tried them, will definitely be going back for color! Kat was very patient and made sure I was comfortable since I was nervous yet again to try a new place for my cut. This place is a gem and very easy to find off the road. Can't wait till my next appointment!

For the price, it's not bad. The ladies definitely do a better job and are more accommodating than the male stylists that work here. I'm sorry I don't know names, but there is a Thai woman who works here and she does excellent work for women and girls...and at a really good price. The deal with places like Rios is that they really depend on the stylists that work there. As I said, I would not recommend any of the male stylists. They are not as friendly, accommodating, or helpful and definitely not as skilled.

The first time I came to Rios Golden Cut Salons it was because I had a terrible experience at another salon. Determined to go home happy, I came here immediately after the first salon to get it fixed. I’m so glad I made that decision. The lady did a wonderful job. I walked out with the style I wanted initially, that I didn’t get from the first place, and she took extra time with me. I was so appreciative of the care she took with me in making sure I left happy. Now it’s my regular place. All 5 members of my family go here and they’ve never steered us wrong.

I was very skeptical about this place at first being it was a bargain rate type of haircut salon. But then I was told about Erin and how she cut his hair and he looked good. I decided to give it a go and let her do my hair. She was very very professional in the way she did it and every time I have gone back she has remembered what type of cut to be done. Keep her there !
