Rittenhouse Nails

I had a great experience at Rittenhouse Nails. I was able to easily get an appointment for a basic manicure and was very pleased with the results. I chose a dark color and the technician applied the polish extremely neatly. The added massage was very welcome and overall, the prices were very fair. Staff all around was very kind and attentive. I will come back again when I’m in the area.

I was on a return visit to Philadelphia. It’s a city I lived in for quite a few years. One of my first go to spots was Rittenhouse Nails. And, I think they’re one of the absolute best for a gel manicure and pedicure. This was done absolutely flawless. Hitting three weeks now that I’ve had this work done and not a single chip and it still has the same shine. I have washed dishes forgetting to put gloves on. I haven’t exactly protected my nails and they’ve held up. Definitely one of the best go to places for your Nails. And, it’s clearly a nice relaxing place that’s clean, well organized and maintained. I’ll definitely keep this in my list when I’m in town again.

I asked for saran wrap on my toes to protect my polish on the walk home , and the nail technician accidentally put topcoat on all my fingers and toes instead of oil. It ruined the finish, and when I tried to mention it, she ignored me. I had to call over the owner, Susan, to even get acknowledged. I asked for a partial refund because I didn’t have time to come back the next day. I had hired a babysitter specifically for this appointment and needed to get home to my kids. I even said the technicians could keep their tip. Instead of handling it properly, Susan, the owner, grabbed my hand and started taking off my polish as retaliation for asking for a refund. She even tried to remove the polish from my toes, but I put my socks on and left because I was late to relieve my sitter. She also h

If you’re looking to throw away $85, this is the place. I went in for a simple fill-in and was told I had to get brand-new tips, which was completely unnecessary. What should have been quick and routine turned into an expensive mess. The final result was terrible — uneven, sloppy, and absolutely not worth the price. I’ll be posting photos so people can see for themselves how bad the work is. The staff was nice, but that doesn’t make up for the poor quality of work. This is definitely not a place I would go to again or recommend to anyone. Stay away.

I got a dip polish manicure and gel polish pedicure on 7/23 as a walk-in. a tech started to prep my nails to soak off the polish when a few of the techs including the one working on me started arguing. (not in english but I can tell when people are arguing ). Once my first hand was done the nail tech grabbed her equipment stood up and stormed off. I asked then if everything was ok. I was uncomfortable. A second technician asked me to move down and she continued my service between her station and the pedicure chair while my pedicure was being done by a third technician. My complaint is that my manicure was terribly done, less than a week later the polish was chipping off and my nails were breaking. There was hardly any top coat applied and the polish wasn't smoothed out and looks bumpy. I w
