River Nails and Spa

I’m giving 3 stars only because they got me in quick, they were kind and the salon was nice and clean. I want to give 2 stars because of price and end result but I won’t. I called River Nails and spa on a whim because I was on river road and I had been dealing with some long, cracked and one even bleeding nail(s). They hurt every time I touched something lol. I called to see if I could stop in real quick and have them removed. They obliged. I appreciated them fitting me in. Daniel was my tech and he was very sweet, asking if I was ok every time he cut my nail. He got the nails off and I decided to get a manicure. The manicure was not done well. He didn’t remove the skin around my nails or my cuticles. I’m not quite sure what I paid for actually because they look just as bad as before I w

I went in yesterday for a fill and a pedicure, and the experience was really disappointing. The man who did my nails was not friendly and barely spoke to me the entire time. After finishing my nails, he moved on to my pedicure — but all he did was paint my toes. He didn’t remove all the old polish first, didn’t soak my feet, didn’t do a massage, no callus removal — none of the things that normally come with a pedicure. It was literally just polish, and he charged $35 for that alone. My total was $75, and even though I still tipped (because that’s my karma), I’ll never return.

River Nail and Spa was SUPER accommodating! May did a fantastic job on my nails. Vivian did my cousins and she was amazing as well. Daniel did my mother nails he was phenomenal too! Everyone was so incredibly friendly. If I didn’t live across the country I would come here every single time I needed my nails done.

Vivian was amazing! Was my first time here, will definitely be back!!!!

I love my neighborhood nail salon. All techs are great, but Holly is who I ask for each time. Highly recommend!
