Roberto's Barber & Styling Salon

I was visiting the city and found Roberto and his shop. He is a gentleman and a genuine, professional, old school barber. I felt right at home. Great haircut and reasonable price. Had a great conversation. I will return for sure on my next trip. This is the neighborhood barber experience we all remember fondly and is increasingly hard to find.

Without an appointment, I was accommodated after a brief 10 minute wait. He gave me a simple yet stylish haircut, and we had a delightful conversation about Italy, Italian food, Thailand, New York, and Providence. With 44 years of experience, his skill and warmth are truly incredible. Highly recommend!

One of the best haircuts I have ever had! Roberto is skilled, knew exactly what to do with my request, and is also a good conversationalist. I told him that I may have to return to Providence every time I need a haircut, and I was not quite joking.

My husband and I were passing through RI headed to a wedding in NY. We googled barber shops in the area and ended up at Roberto's. The owner gave my husband a clean cut, nice shave! It was the royal treatment. Well worth the money and we will definitely be back! Great conversation and a nice clean shop. I suggest you go check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

This is a REAL barber and a REAL barbershop. Old School and Classy. It’s not one of those ghetto joints where they’re selling drugs or talking on their phone while cutting your hair. I walked in with no appointment. There were 3 people in front of me and I didn’t wait very long. I left with the best haircut I ever got. Roberto was a funny guy and good conversationalist. I am from Boston, but have been in RI for a couple months. I wish I found this place sooner. I am moving to Nevada in a couple weeks. I’m going to try to make my way in before I leave. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
