I got my hair done today by Ms.Trell, when I tell you this place is so professional and very clean. This is by far the BEST hair salon I've ever been to in all my 25 years of getting my hair done! They are all very nice, compassionate, caring people. They treat you like a friend🩷 more than just a client. Nowadays it's hard to find someone who will take the time to help you understand your hair and tell you what you can do with it but Trell did all that for me and so much more!! I had a bad experience with another place trying to get mini twist but today I have now found a place I'll always go to and I have a permanent hairdresser now🩷. THANK YOU TRELL🩷🩷🩷

Love coming to this salon!! Before I share my experience at RLB Hair Salon plus Barbering, I must share the backstory. Rodney was my hairstylist 30 years ago at Studio B. I wore a short relaxed cut and even then I knew he was talented..gifted. Fast forward, I relocated back to the area and began looking for a hairstylist. I’m very picky when it comes to my hair. I ask a lot of questions because healthy hair is most important. I googled Rodney’s name and to my surprise, he was here. When you walk into the salon, the atmosphere is warm and everyone is so friendly. He has a top notch team - Alex, Trelle and Yvette are amazing. They work as a team always complimenting each other and the clients. Now I wear my hair natural and loving it, thanks to Rodney!!

Rodney Barnes Hair Salon has been such a blessing! Growing up as a cosmetologist’s kid and seeing first hand the entrepreneurial journey within the hair industry, I was nothing short of nervous when I moved away from home and had to find a new hair dresser. My Dad was the only person to EVER do my hair and I just assumed that finding a new hair dresser that I was comfortable with was going to be a tall task. Soon after, my great friend from college recommended me to go see Alex at Rodney Barnes who just so happened to rock a super dope short haircut. The moment I walked in, I knew it was the place to be. My experience at Rodney Barnes Hair Salon was amazing. All the stylists are extremely courteous and professional. Even coming in as a first time client, I felt welcomed. My stylist, Alex, was very friendly, and she even took the time to recommend ways I could tailor my haircare regimen to fit my specific hair needs. I was very pleased with the way my hair turned out, and have already scheduled another appointment!

I had the most amazing experience today at this salon. Rodney & his entire staff are courteous, respectful & very professional. Prior to my appointment I had a consultation with Rodney. He listened to my concerns & my expectations. He was very honest & informative. He explained the process as well as giving me his professional opinion. He showed me recent pics of clients & gave me suggestions so I would know what to expect. Today I walked out of the salon a highly satisfied customer. I have a beautiful color, cut & style & I could not be happier. He also explained to me how to apply product & style my hair until my next appointment. I am so happy that I have found a stylist to care for my natural grey hair.
