First time taking my son to a barber shop! Walking in the Rio area with my son and knowing he needing a hair cut - we decided to give Roosters a try. As a walk in we got Jim as the barber. His energy is great. Probably the best hair cut of his 11 years. My son is very happy and said that he definitely wants to come here!

I’ve been taking my son to Roosters for years now, but we are absolutely amazed by Lonzelle each time. He knows exactly the cut my son wants and delivers it smoothly and perfect as always. Lonzelle also went above and beyond for a last minute holiday haircut—even tho he was fully booked—and we can’t appreciate him enough!

Great cut and great stylist. My first time and she cut my hair exactly like I wanted without having to explain like at sportsclips. May have high rates but it was worth it. Definitely will repeat.

I've been going to Rooster's in Rio (Gaithersburg) for a long time. The staff there are extremely detail oriented, attentive and caring. The best barbershop I've been to amongst the number of places I've visited in the DMV. The online reservation system is also simple to use.

First time going to a barber shop in YEARS! After researching some barbers in the area, I came across Roosters and decided to give it a try. I didn't have any expectations. I selected Jim as my barber and he is amazing! His energy is great. We connected on a lot of things. I wanted to start doing a fade and Jim set my cut nicely to grow my hair into a longer fade in a few weeks. The shop was very clean as well. The receptionist was very welcoming too. I will be coming back soon.
