RoseMary’s Hair Shoppe

I was visiting and needed a local salon to do a hair updo for a photoshoot. I saw RoseMary’s as an option and decided to give her a call 2 weeks out to see if she had availability Saturday morning. Luckily there was a spot 8am! Morning of Saturday, RoseMary was there bright and early and ready to see what I had in mind. I showed her a few inspo pictures but also was open to her taking the lead on her creative side when it came to braids and placement of hair. The end result was perfect - the plumeria she added as a finishing touch to the updo really made it extra special and the volume made it look like I had more hair! Great men's haircut, wonderful conversation throughout the cut. A very genuine person that I enjoyed my time with. Great price for anywhere let alone Waikiki. Wow. What a great little find while traveling. Got my man in on an early Sunday morning. “Grandma” gave him the Royal treatment, she opened up a book to have us select the type of hair cut we were looking for. She was sweet and kind and thorough. A little neck massage and my man was in heaven. Highly appreciated and would recommend!

Japanese salons were quite expensive, so I looked for a local place and found this salon—and I’m so glad I did! The lady was so welcoming and listened carefully to what I wanted.
