Roxanne African Hair Braiding

All around bad experience from start to finish. This was one of the most uncomfortable salon experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve been braided many times. The appointment took over 7 hours despite two people working on my hair, which is far longer than normal for this style. Throughout the service I was repeatedly yanked so hard that I was genuinely worried about hair damage. During blow-drying, the air was set to the hottest setting and burned my scalp and neck, while my hair was also being aggressively pulled. I asked three separate times for box braids and was told that’s what I was getting. There were no mirrors available, so I couldn’t see my hair during the process. This was one of the worst braid experiences I’ve ever had. I arrived at 8am and didn’t leave until 6pm, which is completely unacceptable. There were three different people in my hair, and the entire process was painful. My hair was pulled aggressively the whole time. I clearly told them not to braid my hair tight, and they ignored me. The comb was repeatedly dug deep into my scalp, causing unnecessary pain and discomfort. On top of that, the workers were rude and unprofessional. There was also a major communication barrier because they could not speak English, which made it extremely difficult to express concerns or feel heard as a client. The only positive thing I can say is that Roxane is a sweetheart. Other than that, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I haven’t been to this establishment in about two years and I can Honestly say TODAY , Honey TODAY was a great experience everybody has their own opinion but these knotless Braids I got the ladies did Amazon. Came in at 8am and it wasn’t even 12 before I got out . This will be the only place I get my braids at . THANK YOU

Looked a mess couldn’t even do my edges && in then I told too the owner in she said she would re do it over …. I’m thinking she’s gonna take it all down in wash it etc etc she takes one braids out at a time in re. Braids mind the braids were mess out in very bad in she is take them down one by one In kept stop doing other stuff had a attitude the whole time please don’t go too them this is a honest review

THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE! asoon as i walked in for the FIRST TIME from when i left i knew i would NOT revisit this business again. My hair was not washed properly AND it washed in a dirty sink. My hair was purposely ripped from my scalp! They didn’t detangle my hair properly at all. The braider that Roxanne referred me to was terrible. Overpriced & very unprofessional! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone please save your time & money! 👎
