I had an amazing experience getting a cut from Lyndsy during the holidays and honestly wish I could give 6 stars. This was my first time at the shop and my first real haircut in nearly 10 years so I was a little nervous going in but Lyndsy immediately made me feel comfortable. She was incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and truly listened to what I wanted. The atmosphere in the shop really stood out as well. Everyone seemed like close friends, and it was great hearing the other barbers genuinely engaging with their clients and providing top notch customer service. Most importantly, Lyndsy absolutely nailed the haircut. I showed her a reference photo and she recreated the look effortlessly, taking me from long to short with confidence and skill. Paul, Lyndsey, and the whole crew are top notch. They have kept me looking sharp for almost a decade. From the first time I sat in Paul's chair I knew I would continue to return. The first 3-4 years I wouldn't even need to tell him what I wanted when I sat down, and every time a fresh hand-created design would come to life. Royal Avenue barbers are creative, welcoming, and detail oriented. Book an appointment next time you need a new 'do!

My barber was Chase and he did an amazing job he gave me the exact haircut I asked for and made sure it matched the pictures I showed him also everyone was overall super chill

Asked for a bald fade but no razor blade was used, so I asked for it and was told “this [box shaver] machine will be better than razor” Anyone with barber basics knows this is simply not true. Do not promote yourself as something you are not. Working amongst barbers by definition does not make you one— stay in your lane. UPDATE: Despite my hair being up and clipped, Lyndsy still managed to chop my long hair somehow. Would give negative stars if I could.
