Royal Beauty Supply and Wigs

I was fraudulently overcharged $900 on my credit card from this store on 1/3/26. Be careful. Edit: Shauntness is not my real name. However, the purchase was made on 1/3/2026 and the charge went through on 1/5/2026. It can be found using those dates. #2 Edit: I still have not been refunded the $900 and have tried calling the establishment with no answer. Please be careful here!

On January 3, 2026, I made an in-store purchase totaling $42. However, my credit card was charged $942.96, an overcharge of approximately $900, which posted on January 5, 2026. This charge is incorrect and does not match my receipt or the items purchased. I am requesting that you review your transaction records and refund the $900 overcharge immediately. I have called the store on multiple occasions with no answer. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will proceed with a formal dispute through my credit card issuer and pursue all available consumer remedies.

They didn't have everything I needed, but the service was really good. The young lady who helped me was more than informative and very nice.

This store has everything. It is a bit crowded, but that's because they have all the products you need. The prices are amazing and the staff... although they never did approach to see if I needed help, when I approached them,, they were very helpful and FUNNY. I live in Oregon and I can tell you I will be coming back to this store every time I'm in Chicago.

Royal beauty does not give back to community or it's customers. Since 2015 they have not had a true customer appreciation day. They do not give free samples with any purchase, they cheat and trick at register for a so-called 10% off hair products, knowing tax will make discount obsolete, and the lady cashier always seems antisocial and unfriendly.. besides they don't carry certain necessities in beauty and grooming and very little variety for other items such as mirrors,barber capes, stainless steel cutting shears, barber sets, etc .. I decided to stop being a high paying customer to Royal finally, and stopped shopping there.
