Salon 21

I have been going to Salon 21 for years and have consistently had wonderful experiences. The service is always excellent, and everyone there is so kind, welcoming, and professional. I have been seeing Ruby for years, and she is truly amazing. She is positive, kind, patient, and incredibly talented. She always listens carefully and gives me exactly the haircut I ask for, even when I feel anxious about changing my style. Ruby makes the whole experience comfortable and reassuring every time. I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else and highly recommend Salon 21 and Ruby to anyone looking for great service and a welcoming environment.

I’ve been going to Salon21 exclusively for almost 2 years now! I get my appointments with Ruby, and she does an incredible job working with you and making sure your vision comes to life. I can trust Ruby with my hair entirely, and she is willing to listen to what you want and find ways to give you the final look you desire The rest of the stylists there are incredible too. I watch them cut their client’s hair and am always impressed with the professionalism and efficiency.

This review is coming a while after I was there but I want to share the aftermath of my experience. As someone who used to work as a hairdresser I know how beneficial it is to have reference photos. I was doing a big chop so I wanted to show exactly what I was going for. The first red flag was she barely glanced at the photos. Then proceeded to ask a bunch of questions throughout the service that she wouldn't have needed to ask if she looked at the reference photo. The next red flag was instead of putting my hair in a few ponytails and cutting them all to roughly shoulder length she took my hair down layer by layer to do the initial cut before creating the style cut. I was in that chair so much longer than I needed to be. I was polite and said it was fine in the end because I was over her

So this was my first time getting my hair done at this salon. I always get it done in NY or in Las Cruces with salons I know. I just couldn’t get into either appointment due to my schedule. I had one of the younger stylist doing my hair who’s starting out in cutting and styling hair. Although I was nervous due to being unfamiliar with the salon, I went in with an open mind. She was kind, and worked diligently on my hair. She also offered me some water which was really nice given the long appointment time. With the final result, however, I was a bit disappointed as the top part of my highlights are uneven. One side is thicker than the other, and the top highlights don’t completely blend with the bottom highlights as I previously had much lighter highlights. The left side of my hair is more

I have been going to Salon 21 for several years now and have been consistently impressed with the stylists and the quality of the haircuts I’ve received. After my previous stylist retired I began booking with Ruby, and she is hands down the best stylist I’ve ever seen!!! In the past, I had always been indifferent about my haircuts. Since seeing Ruby, I can confidently say I LOVE my hair for the first time in my life! She listens to me and cuts my hair exactly the way I want it, but has also given me excellent guidance, and, trusting her expertise, I have ended up with fantastic results.
