I absolutely love this place!!! They are so clean, welcoming, and just have so much knowledge! They always make sure to inform you on what is best for your hair type and try to always meet your needs if something is gonna be a little bit too much for your hair to handle at the moment. They are honest and do such good work. You will definitely leave strutting out and feeling like a brand new woman! I love their new products they use in house it smells phenomenal and does wonders for your hair! I personally love Taylor she is such a cutie and does amazing work!

This was my first salon visit, and I wasn't happy with the experience. I was serviced by Ellie, who seemed to have a negative attitude throughout. When I made a couple of comments about my hair, she responded rather rudely. This was my first time getting bangs, and I asked for something whispy and almost minimal. I feel like she cut too much hair into them and then tried to make the ends wispy, which ended up giving me really short bangs. Also at the end of my service when I went to check out, the lady who checked me out gave me a face like shock and horror. I was so upset in the car because my bangs were too short, and the woman at the desk gave me a bad look. I won't be going back there.

I called about 1pm last friday because I was in desperate need of help. For some reason (not sure if it’s pregnancy) but my hair has continuously been so tangly. I could not handle anymore and the front desk was able to get me in with Ellie. I explained my problem and she said it was most likely because my hair wasn’t hydrated. She explained everything to me used all the products to help and showed all of them to me at the end of the appointment. I also should mentioned she cut my hair pretty short into a bob (which I asked for). I could not be more happy with Ellie and my haircut. She did amazing and let’s just say she’s gained a new client! Thank you so much Ellie! I’ll be back soon for a color.

It was my best hair experience so far at Salon 42 ballantyne!! I got my hair colored, cut and styled by the expert- codi Steffen!! My hair was totally transformed from what it was when I came to the salon, and looking so stylish! I love the way my hair looks now! Thanks so much Codi!!!
