The staff is very friendly and the prices are great, but be prepared to double check the work and advocate for yourself. My sister and I got haircuts together and both ended up having to get another cut elsewhere to fix them. If we had advocated for ourselves more during the services, maybe we would’ve been happier with the results. - after shampoo/conditioner, no additional products were used on my hair (would’ve at least liked to see some heat protectant, especially because I don’t think my hair was completely dry before she started curling- probably could’ve asked for some but didn’t think to at the time. To be fair, I think this was just my stylist because my sister did not experience this.) - the curls fell out by the time I got home (45 minutes) - not a round brush in sight- we both

I have been going to Rome for extensions and color since September and she has done an amazing job every single time! I was scared to try extensions and vivid color but she did it flawlessly and the color match is ALWAYS 100% perfect. For real never going to anyone else! Unfortunately, I did not advocate for myself. I'm just gonna take it as a loss. Because I don't like conflict, but I asked for with photos.What I wanted... And it's pretty opposite of what I got. I was quoted 180 at my consultation.She ended up charging me 200 .Said she gave me thirty five dollars off.Because I didn't really like it 😞 she said she would fix it, in a couple months, but honestly I don't want to go back & have it messed up even more plus get charged again when I shouldn't have gotten charged at all. I have gone to other salons, and they were in disbelief. 😭 my haircut is not even either. Picture for reference of what I wanted to show her and what I got.

Hair By Syd did an INCREDIBLE job on my haircut! After 4 years of trimming with my kitchen scissors and 2 kids later I was overdue for a good cut. Syd did such an incredible job and I am already recommending others to go to her. She will be my go-to girl for hair needs!!

This review is long over due! I went here yesterday, 12/20 and got my hair done by Ms Rome 🩷 she understood the assignment well and did fantastic on my big chop! My hair is now shoulder length and I couldn’t be any happier. 10/10 recommend this salon. She’s also super super friendly
