Yunus was an absolute life saver! I ruined my hair, it was uneven, damaged, and a rainbow pretty much. He didn’t even blink, immediately knew what the best way forward was and discussed what was doable for it. He worked on it and made it look gorgeous again! It’s not even dry anymore! Yeah, he had to cut some off but it was necessary. I absolutely love it. The pictures don’t make justice to how much better it looks now. Yunus has always done a wonderful job with my hair and he just worked a miracle this time around. Never trying anything different ever again. I added some and after photos.

My friend recommended that I try out a haircut with Franco and I have to say it was a great decision. He listened to what I was thinking about for my cut and made some recommendations. I did not feel pressured in any way to take them, but if you’re wondering, I did take his suggestions :) He was kind and attentive, and told me a funny story. I look forward to seeing him again and having me look glamorous.

I'm changing my review because the salon was willing to fix my hair at no cost after I complained. However, I was traveling the next day for an extended amount of time, and wasn't able to take them up on the offer. They instead are going to reimburse me. I appreciate that they tried to correct their earlier missteps. ------------------------ From all the good reviews, I was excited to go to this place and try them out. However, it ended up being extremely disappointing. I was rushed through (they only spent 15 minutes cutting my hair - granted I have short hair and wanted it a bit shorter, but it's never been this quick!) and then the stylist didn't dry it, and I went back in to ask them to do it. I've found my go-to hairdresser in DC! I got my hair cut from Cyrus at Salon Macomb today, and he was amazing. Thorough, creative, friendly, and a great conversationalist. When I told him I was new to DC, he was even so kind as to offer his friendship and phone number in case I wanted to have dinner with him and his wife at some point! Just a really wonderful guy, whom I look forward to talking with again the next time I need a haircut. Highly recommended!

I visited the salon for the first time recently and saw Cyrus. I came in just needing a trim, to make my hair look healthy and revitalized, and I got exactly what I wanted. Cyrus did a great job with the cut! He made sure to tell me what he thought would look best, but listened to what I wanted as well. I will definitely go back and would definitely recommend Cyrus and the Salon to others!
