I never write reviews but people should know what I dealt with. Had high hopes but unfortunately my experience started off bad when I was asked by Amina if I could come at 4pm instead of 3pm. I said that was fine and then 4pm came and she was still getting supplies and told me she would just let me know when I could head to the salon. It wasn’t until 5:30pm I was able to finally go to the salon. 2.5 hours later. All I wanted was to lighten my roots and overall my hair. I did not leave the salon until 11:30pm and the results were not what i wanted. First off I have never been at a salon for 6 hours before and to not see a major difference I was disappointed. $300 was spent and it was a waste. I have been going to Salon Meche for a couple of years now. I met Mary through a friend of mine that always had the most beautiful cut and color. Mary has impressed me from the very beginning. I love the way she does my hair. Mary gives thorough consultations, attention to detail and has a superior skill level that very few stylists have nowadays. I always leave the salon very happy with my gorgeous cut and color. The salon environment is always positive and relaxing. A rare gem in Eastern NC.

Salon Méche is by far my favorite salon. Even though I now live in Charleston, I always come home to this salon to get anything done to my hair. Both Amina and Mary are super talented and friendly, which makes the salon (and the time spent waiting for your hair to process) enjoyable. If you give them a picture, they can make it happen, which is pretty rare. I tend to give them free rein of my hair, and I have never been disappointed. I can't wait to return to Salon Méche for my next cut and color!

I have gone to Mrs.Mary for SEVERAL YEARS. Her consultation’s are spot on and there is NEVER a moment i’ve ever thought “she doesn’t understand what I’m saying”. I have had my hair every color, white, silver, red to blonde ombré, brown, you name it I’ve probably had it. Hands down the best salon in Greenville North Carolina. Not to mention their salon feels like home. Mary and Amina are the so sweet and make you feel FLAWLESS when you step out of their salon. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

The stylists at Salon Meche are focused on making their clients look and feel beautiful. A loyal client for over a decade, I do not trust anyone else to cut or color my hair. Mary and Amina are both conscientious and meticulous, ensuring their clients receive amazing services from the initial consultation to the final coiffure!
