Easily the best hair salon I have ever been to. Quency gave me a fresh cut in 2016 and I’ve never gone anywhere else since then. The staff are highly skilled, welcoming, responsive and flexible. It’s a wonderful community, not just a salon. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

The service was great until I sat in the chair and got my haircut by Elias. I was very specific about what I wanted and even showed him photos from the Quincy Instagram. Unfortunately, I ended up with the worst haircut of my life. Not only was it disproportionate, but he also never cleaned it up. When I mentioned that one side was longer than the other, he proceeded to cut my hair dry and with some sticky product in it. As a result, my hair turned out choppy, and the sides looked like I could have done a better job myself at home. This stylist should not be giving haircuts to clients in DC

Quency was amazing! He was very attentive to my needs and crystal clear with the plan. His technique is amazing—truly one of the best haircuts yet. I will definitely be back!

I’ve heard this place was good and maybe it is but don’t choose Elise. After giving very detailed instructions multiple times each time he asked I received the worst haircut of my adult life. There is now a chunk of my hair missing from my left side that will take months to grow out.

Salon Quency provides incredible service, on point haircuts, and an excellent price point. I’ve been getting my haircut at Salon Quency for years and have referred many friends along the way — I can’t recommend Mary and the rest of the team enough!
