I was recommended by a friend to go to Susan for my hair cut and highlights in 2023 when I moved to Philly. I'm pretty weird about my hair and definitely have trust issues when it comes to being heard by the person that is in control of how my hair turns out - this is important to note. I had an amazing experience at Salon Vanity with Dolly! I got my hair colored, blow-dried, glossed, and treated, and everything turned out better than I expected. Dolly is incredibly professional, friendly, and really takes her time to make sure you’re happy with the results. My hair feels and looks amazing. I would definitely recommend her and Salon Vanity to anyone looking for high-quality hair services!

Mak is a color genius and a cut genius. I feel like it’s so hard to find both qualities in one stylist but she’s amazing. Additionally, she is always on time, listens well, asks the right questions, and is focused so she can get you out in a reasonable timeframe without sacrificing quality. At other places sometimes I felt like I was unnecessarily waiting, where Mak and the staff make me feel highly attended to. The junior stylists always also do a great job and Chrissy at the front desk is SO helpful with booking / switching appointments and also making change for smaller bills when I need it. Overall I always have a great experience and leave looking like my best self.

My husband is from Philadelphia. I am from Maryland. My hair was a mess. I have been through so much that I did not have time to fix my hair. My husband said the best hairstylist are in Philadelphia. He is never wrong. So I made an appointment at Salon Vanity. Of course I was nervous and embarrassed. My hairstylist was Dolly. She made me feel at ease. She said we can fix this. Don’t worry, you will be fine. So I went with it and I was extremely impressed with my hair. It looked gorgeous. Better than I’ve ever had. The salon was busy, but she took her time with me. She is an asset to your Salon. She is young, with a lot of enjoy and the best hairstylist I have ever been to. I went back several times .Unfortunately, I missed my last visit in December 2025.
