Samantha's Mini Spa

I found this little gem last night when I was staying in NE Minneapolis on a business trip. The cold MN air quickly dissipated when I entered their beautiful salon right by US Bank Stadium. They were warm and friendly. Kim did my gel manicure and she was amazing! Her attention to detail, color suggestions, hand massage, made it a fun and relaxing experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Catering to the “fancy” customers and also the more vulnerable elderly population with attentive care/service! I had a Holiday manicure with Katie today and it was perfection. So great to support a local business that does quality work and is in my neighborhood ❤️

Staff are very nice, I like that I was able to walk in and be serviced immediately, and I enjoyed the atmosphere inside. However, I didn’t like my full set that I got done. Nails are not the same length, the shape is off, some aren’t fully covered in the dip powder at the edges, and the shape is uneven. Did not trim my cuticles, either. The price is way too high for the level of services.

I have gone to the salon off and on for the past 10 years. Samantha used to do my nails out of my last four manicures, however, two of them have chipped within a week. But this last one is ridiculous. My whole right hand is chipping and it’s only been six days so I think I will be taking my business elsewhere. It’s a shame to because it’s such a nice salon and it used to be so friendly and so lovely. Now I find the atmosphere rather rushed.
