Samuel Shriqui Salon

I have been going to this salon for years to get my hair colored by Linda. The stylists I have used - Lucy, Dayler, Aurora - are all excellent and provide the type of personal care which is rare these days. The entire staff is courteous and very professional and always go the extra mile to accommodate any request. One never has to wait and the positive environment in the salon makes it a most pleasant experience.

Tohmas is incredible! He gave my pre-Crohn’s hair colour back! Yusef did a great blowout and Mercedes was so kind washing my hair and protecting my eyes. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The place is very clean and bright. 10/10

This is a fabulous salon! Manicurist Simona Mena and Stylist Yusuf Tolu are unparalleled in NYC. The salon is always a pleasant place to visit. You will receive very personalized attention and feel pampered.

I made the trip to Samuel Shriqui specifically for their unmatched selection of Essie nail polish; I wanted to know if they stock my favorite shade of red, which is difficult to find. 1hr before the Saturday closing time, I was turned away!!! I was told that they were closing early due to it being a slow day! But they weren't actually closed! And I wasn't even allowed to check the availability of the color I was looking for, but told instead "to come back on Monday". Absolutely disgraceful customer service, and particularly shocking in this part of town.
