Sanou African Hair Braiding

My daughter and I have been to Sanou Braids twice, and both times we got boho braids. The braids were absolutely amazing, and the parts were perfect. The customer service was wonderful as well. I drive over an hour to get to them, and it is 100% worth it. I highly recommend Sanou Braids!

0/10 experience. I will NEVER EVER set foot in this place again. I had the worst experience here. I called ahead of time and asked the price for medium waist length knotless and the person on the phone confirmed the price. I then asked her if they were busy and I was told no. I then told that person I would be there for in 30 minutes and she said ok. I arrived around 10:40 and every braider was occupied. There was one girl who had two braiders. They sat me in a chair and a braider asked what color I wanted and started to separate the hair. She started braiding my hair only got through 3 braids and their “boss” directed her to go back to the girl she was working on. Another girl comes over and worked on my hair the entire time. I believe she was doing her best but they do not understand the

They told me one price of $200 , over the phone then $260 , once I came in. The worst part was the stylist asking g me to separate my boho hair. I'm excuse me ma'am I worked hard to pay for a service for you to do not me. HELLO !!! GET IT TOGETHER!!! Then to top.it offf another of the books hair on the ends came right.

I made an appointment/called the day before and was told to come first thing in the morning. The day of the “appointment” I was told to come back another day. They turned another person away that stated that they called as well. Obviously they either over booked themselves or didn’t have enough braiders for the day even though it was 9 am as soon they opened. I ended up going to another braider the same day. I had my hair braided by them before. However, my money can be spent elsewhere! 0 stars if I could seeing that they inconvenienced me even though I called the day before then they acted brand new the day of the appt.

I really liked the 2x I went until my 3rd visit where I took my son to get his hair braided. I texted her a picture and in the text I advised her that , unlike the picture, he did NOT have shaved sides. So, I was promptly quoted $90. I get there, she assigns a braider and takes a look at his hair and states, there was a misunderstanding so it’s going to be $100 today and $120 next time…okay, understood , no problem , I’m reasonable and can understand that. The braider then takes a photo of my photo , of what we are requesting to have done, she starts braiding and it’s nothing like the picture. I had to unfortunately interrupt her (respectfully) several times to confirm what we wanted. After 5 hours five! …on short hair mind you, I went to pay and I confirm “$120 right” she says, “wel
