Savvy Chic Nail Cottage

I do NOT recommend this place. The only good thing about it was that they took me in right away. The guy I had was really rough and hurt me several times and didn’t seem to care. My nails looked pretty bad and a few weeks later they are even worse. Maybe someone else there does better work but needless to say I won’t be going back!

I used to got to this salon year ago when I first moved to long beach. I loved the service and the care that went into the service. My new nail place was booked and busy so i decided to give them a try for a pedicure. First, when an available technician was ready, I was skipped over. Then, when my technician finally arrived, the water was not hot at all. Granted this woman seemed very sweet, but she seemed more into what was going on around her than the care going into my pedicure. All of this to say I WILL NEVER waste my money here, 1st she skipped a toenail. THEN! my gel polish came off within 3 days. We don't get gel for the polish to come off in days. I want my money back.

I have come to this nail salon twice now and both times I have been more than satisfied with the service and attention I received. The first time I came in with my stepdaughter to get gel manicures. I like to make it a girl's day treat when she's done something worth celebrating. We used to go to a different nail salon, but I was very disappointed with the service she got last time. I guess that because she is young (10 y.o), they thought they didn't need to give her the same treatment (even though I was paying the full price for it). Worst nail salon I’ve ever been to!! My bestie and I went there to celebrate my birthday and pamper ourselves. We got the nail special with wine. The nail technicians were so rude and rolling their eyes and whispering in their language. You could tell they hate their jobs and clients. I felt like I had to apologize for them doing my nails. No salon should make you feel this way. My nails chipped that night. Also I got a cold sore the very next day (I doubt they clean their wine glasses either). Never going here again.

I went in as a walk in. It took them 40 minutes to get my nails done. I also got my eyebrows waxed and my top lip. My eyebrows came out great. My nails are so bomb. She gave me a design and I said she can do whatever. The nail tech is Kelly.
