I’ve been swooning over Scissor Tail Studio for six years, and it’s safe to say Whitney, my talented hair stylist of seven years, has me hooked! This place is a vibe—great music that sets the perfect mood while Whitney works her magic. She’s not just skilled; she’s the sweetest professional who knows how to make every snip feel special. My two daughters and I always leave with smiles, our hair looking fabulous thanks to her expertise. Whitney’s amazing with kids, turning haircuts into a fun adventure they can’t wait to repeat. I worked with Whitney, she was lovely. She took the time to consult with me regarding a few images I had my eye on before we had even officially made an appointment. When I arrived for my session, she was quick to acknowledge my presence, greet me, and let me know she'd be with me momentarily. I was collected and brought back to her chair a minute *Before* my official start time. Whitney is not only charismatic, engaging, pleasant but knowledgeable and skilled in her craft. She checked in with me regarding comfort, [drink/food/pressure of the hair brush, comfort of the apron/smock, water temperature preferences etc.] She was great with communicating about how much color I wanted, how much upkeep I was looking for, and before we even touched product, she reiterated what I was looking

I use to see Lindsey, who is amazing. After she left I saw Dawn for the first time. She didn’t listen to how my hair gets done. She turned my hair line orange. By doing a shadow root when I never get a shadow root done. She also didn’t foil a lot of my roots. And when I asked her if she could get me in to add some more foils to blend my roots, she told me she didn’t want to because of damage. Which it was virgin hair so there wouldn’t be any damage. She said I’d probably have a better fit for another hair stylist. I cried as soon as I got into my car. I’m a hair stylist myself and I would have fixed my clients hair if they were unhappy. So, definitely very unprofessional.

Averi is an amazing stylist. She not only went above and beyond for my girlfriend and I. We left completely smitten. She is the woman to go to for color. Genius mind! I'm thankful to have gone to her and we will be back again! If you're looking for a great visit with someone who does an amazing job please make an appointment with her. Rachel is a wonderful person and a great hair artist. She talks to understand your hair needs and style and work to give you the best hair style. She has a good knowledge of products she is using and most of what she uses are organic or natural products. She makes you feel 100% special not just for the day you visit the hair studio but everyday after that when you know you can flaunt your hair because you feel good about them and they also look very stylish.
