SEPHORA at Kohl's

The most disgusting Sephora I’ve ever been inside of. There seemed to be 5 employees working there at once but not one of them thinks to clean up the place? If you have time to ask customers if they need anything you sure have time to wipe things down. Products were seeping out of the sample jars, unopened products were collecting a layer of dust on the shelves. The shelves were collecting dust and even hairs. I mean seriously not one product did not have dust on it. Most shelves were almost completely unstocked. This is not a good look for Kohl’s or Sephora. Will definitely not be back.

My only complaint about Sephora (and it's a big one) is they rarely have the items in stock while the samples are out on display to try. It's a waste of time for customers to try on products to be told they don't carry it. If they don't have the products in stock-please remove the samples. (The purpose of a retail store is to sell goods that are available for consumers to purchase). Often times I'm told no other Kohl's/Sephora has it either and it's frustrating. The employees are cheerful, courteous and helpful, so no issues there, but they could do a much better job on the floor going through their merchandise that's for sale-available to buy.

They never have things in stock, even if there are samples out to try. No one seems to really know what products they have. I have to tell them over and over that I have a Sephora rewards account, and I don’t want a Kohls account. Today, they absolutely insisted that I had to sign up for kohls rewards or I couldn’t use my Sephora rewards account and I spent 15 minutes standing there putting in my email and phone number and getting having to provide codes. The most obnoxious experience. Just order online - this place is not worth the hassle.

While I was there the manager came in and started going at the employees for several minutes about “think about the customer! Look at this box over here! If I was a customer what would I think? This is terrible! Absolutely no product goes here!” Etc. And just tearing into them. It was a long reaming in my opinion. I shot the scolding manager a look she saw and kept browsing. When I went to check out I gave the employees some kind words. How hard is it to not be rude??? Employees are people, sheesh! They’re not trash you can kick around. Yeah. Think about the customer experience. I didn’t even notice the boxes because I was looking for my items but I heard you loud and clear and felt extremely irritated and it stuck with me. Shameful. Don’t talk to people like that. Good job employees. Ma

Karen suggested a repair snd color correct cream for dry skin and rosacea and a foundation that is a perfect color match and great for sensitive skin. Finished the trip with Ube birthday cake blurring and setting powder by Huda. Sophie/ Sophia helped link rewards accounts and held my products so I could use my in-store coupon. Beyond excited.
