SEPHORA at Kohl's

Went to Sephora and Ulta the same day to buy new makeup. Store attendants were too busy in Sephora, and the stock seemed to be incredibly low. Ulta is WAY better, they had an attendant who did makeup on me to let me try out before buying. Ended up spending $200 lol. Never going to Sephora when there’s something so much better 2 mins away.

Many customers, including myself, are deeply concerned about Huda Beauty’s public statements and perceived stance regarding the Iranian government and recent events in Iran. When brands appear to align with or fail to clearly condemn human rights concerns and actually she support iran's government to massacre peaceful protesters , it matters. Retailers like Sephora have a responsibility to consider the ethical implications of the brands they platform. I urge Sephora to address these concerns transparently and clarify its values

First time at Sephora and had a great experience, was kindly approached by a shorter girl with green eyes and brunette hair (totally forgot her name, whoops) who was very quick to recommend many products, had great replies to my questions, offered a color match, brought my items to the front when I was deciding on what else I was gonna grab and was available to help whenever, even got me an Ouai sample that I otherwise would have no idea I'm eligible for, signed me up for Kohl's and Sephora rewards, etc. As someone who had no idea how to navigate makeup stores (literally got overwhelmed by walking into the Ulta in the Town Square Mall Plaza), this was a really lovely experience!

(I am writing this from my husbands account) Crystal was the only good part of yesterday’s experience. Thank you to her for being so kind, she even apologized for this event which was not even her fault in any way. If it weren’t for her this would have been a one star review. So I come here all the time & normally have a fine experience. Yesterday, 8/18/23, I went in with a friend , got my product & some samples and headed to checkout. From there I was rudely approached by someone I assume is a manager , didn’t catch her name, accusing me of putting something in my bag. Even when I emptied my bag she insisted I must have stolen something & put it somewhere else , maybe in the pockets I did not have ? Not sure. Felt like a little bit of profiling to me. Such an amazing experience! The girls who work there are extremely helpful. Collette was very nice and helped me find exactly what I was looking for! Will definitely be returning.
