Serene Massage

This was my second massage at Serene Massage in Aurora, and once again they delivered a consistently outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere set the tone for deep relaxation. The rooms were spotless, the music was perfectly chosen, and the subtle, sweet aroma immediately calmed me and put me in exactly the right headspace for a great massage. The hot stones were a wonderful touch and added an extra layer of comfort that truly elevated the session. My massage therapist, Julie, made all the difference. She listened carefully and used exactly the right amount of pressure I requested, turning what could have been a standard medium-level massage into an exceptional one. I can't tell you how disappointed I am this time around. This was my second time visiting after having a phenomenal massage the first time (and after surprising my husband with a massage here as well). This time was horrible. I told the lady massaging me that I'd like to focus on relaxation, which is the exact opposite of what I got. She was going so hard on my shoulders and lower back - I finally stopped her and told her to go softer and to please slow down, so she proceeded to go harder and faster. (and of course said that she barely spoke English, so I did everything I could to show her what I was talking about and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt). Unfortunately, this massage did more harm than good because I already feel sore in places that weren't sore upon arrival.

I had a great experience at Serene Massage. The space was clean, calm, and very professional. Luna did an excellent job. She listened to where I was feeling tension and adjusted the pressure perfectly. She was thorough, skilled, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the session. I left feeling much better and noticeably less tense. I’d definitely recommend Serene Massage, especially Luna, and will be coming back.

I am a massage therapist, so my hubby and I check out new places all the time. It was the best massage in a long time! We each had an individual session. The intake form is simple and straightforward. Both therapists focused on our requested areas, gave the deep pressure we needed, and hot stones for a soft landing on muscle recovery. We both enjoyed luxurious aromatherapy as well. Music was relaxing. Establishment was clean. Therapists were respectful. Some people may complain about traditional massage being more structured and purposeful, but not us. We see the value in their hard work and they are eager to help you feel better in the most effective way possible! Thank you!! 🌸💮🏵️

Julie gave me a GREAT 2 hour Swedish massage and hot stones. Although not a native English speaker, she checked in often with me for pressure level and massage desires. Will definitely book with Julie again the next time I am in Aurora!
