Sharkey's Cuts for Kids-Lakeland

We've come here a couple of times for trims and every hairdresser we've had has been patient with his unfortunate tangles and thick hair. This time he wanted a full transformation. It was done quickly and she navigated around unfortunate cradle cap with care and without causing discomfort. He loves his new haircut. We went from shoulder length to short and were in and out in no time.

Whit is always so friendly and does a good job when she cuts my child’s hair. The results are consistent every time, I don’t have to worry. She always makes sure that his hair cut is the way I want it. I will keep on coming back because the service is phenomenal.

Absolutely love this place and will be returning! We took our son for his first hair cut at almost 3 years old. They were super reassuring to us as parents about this new stage for our boy. They were super fast and sweet to our boy during the process. She helped us with a style because we were unsure. We even got a first hair cut certificate and some locks of hair to take home! The price is great! The people are great! The environment is super kid friendly and inviting! Amazing experience!

The experience at this children's hair salon was really disappointing, to say the least. I decided to take my two boys with the expectation that they would be able to give my 3-year-old boy a cut according to his straight hair, which we had been waiting for months to grow so that they could give him the cut I requested. However, the result was completely different from the cut I asked for. The stylist decided to do what she wanted, ignoring my instructions and cutting way too much of his hair. The cut was not only what we expected, but it was very poorly done and sloppy. I will attach the photos so you can compare the cut I ordered with the one they gave my son. Whit did extremely good with my son. He’s 3 and autistic, it was his first haircut. She made him feel comfortable and went at his speed and it turned out great. Will be coming back.
