Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Miami Lakes

We loved our experience! Mika was so sweet and made my daughter feel completely comfortable during her first haircut. The salon was very clean, welcoming, and kid-friendly. Such a special memory for us. Highly recommend! 💕✂️

My husband usually takes my son for haircuts, but since he’s out of town, I came here. The old lady with hot pink lipstick spread unevenly on her lips… labeled “lead stylist” did my 3 year olds haircut in 20 minutes. Meaning, it came out HORRIBLY. My son is actually VERY good at getting hair cuts, he listens and stays still. She messed up his tape saying his “eyebrow” moved up and messed her up. She cut the top of his hair with scissors leaving one side much longer than the other. Had to get home brush it down and try my best to even it. Making it much shorter than requested. (Fine because hair grows back) His sideburns were uneven and the blend was horrible. (Also had to come home and blend the best I could) I truly hated this experience. And she does NOT deserve to cut little kids hair

I took my 3 boys for the first time to Sharkey’s, just before school started. They not only had a wonderful experience, they came out of there with the BEST hair cuts. I was impressed by their fades and very clean shape up. The staff was warm, inviting and knowledgeable. My boys LOVED the video games and have already asked to go back. Highly recommend!!

Hair service the best like always I have been following Dorka for years but the management on this new location is like a Chinese nail salon. Appointment policy is not later than 5 minutes. Arrive at 11:20 am for 11:30am and front desk assigned a walk in to Dorka bottom line Abi's haircut started at 11:45 but gets better right after she finish hair cut she remove Dorka from Abi so she will finish doing the nails because she got another New customer walk in. She may got a new customer but she lost us. If she is the owner to bad and If she is the Front Desk person I hope she will not be kept to run or ruin a business.

I took my child here for his first haircut and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The stylist, Olena had very little patience with kids and came across as annoyed which made what should have been a special moment a stressful one instead. On top of that.. the haircut was extremely uneven and not blended correctly. We had to take my almost one year old to another place to fix the disaster Olena did. I expected much more from a place that specializes in children’s haircuts. If you’re going to work at a kids haircut place you should be understanding and gentle especially with first timers. Terrible job. We will not be returning.
