Shave on Fifth Downtown

My first time trying this barber and I couldn't have been more pleased! The shop is cozy, clean and comfy. Michael was my barber and was fantastic. He was skilled and courteous and I was lucky that I got his chair as I had no appointment and was a walk-in. The 25 minute wait was so worth it and went by quickly as I was able to entertain myself at the billiard table. I will definitely schedule myself with Michael again. I highly recommend this shop for full on barber services and ask for Michael. He'll take great care of you!

I got butchered at another place, not even exaggerating. I walked into Shave on 5th about 20 min before closing. Not only did Itzak take me last min, he fixed up the disaster haircut I got and my hair looked great. Will definitely be going back!

I had the best haircut and beard trim today. Michael was my barber and he's done an excellent job. This is a classic/rustic man's kind of Barbershop. Glad that I finally found a place that I can enjoy and highly recommend.

I’m usually pretty picky about trying a new barber, but booking was super easy and I honestly felt like I was in good hands the moment I walked in. It feels more like a cool lounge than a typical salon, and my barber gave me some really solid advice on my cut.

IMO, best barber shop in Eastern NC without question. Ive been coming here since moving to Greenville in 2019 and as someone who grew up in CLT, this shop rivals the top studios there easily. Quality, service, time management, etc. everything about this place is awesome!!!
