I moved to NJ 15 years ago and my Son who still lives in Astoria was getting married. I knew I had to get my hair and makeup done at She goes to your head. They are still the quality salon I knew years ago. My hair was done by Ximena, (hairstyle of half up/half down) and it was absolutely gorgeous! Received so many compliments! I was so impressed that the curls lasted for days! Makeup was done by Karina. Wow, oh wow, she was amazing. I looked and felt young again! It was a great experience and the owner Paula is a doll! She knew the importance of the occasion and was so eager to make sure I was happy. I highly recommend the salon!

My best friend has been coming here for over 10 years and she recommended to come see Liz, as I was searching for a new salon close to home. I had such a pleasant experience from the moment I walked in to make an appointment which was given to me that same day after I got of work. I came in just for a trim, and Liz instead provided excellent service, great convo and shared a few helpful tips on how to care for my soft frizzy hair. Overall great experience and I believe I found myself a new salon.

Everytime I go to She Goes To Your Head, I know that I'll be leaving with a confidence in my step and THE best hair. Consistently for the past decade I have been getting my hair done exclusively by She Goes To Your Head. All of the hair stylists are so talented. There is an art element to what they do. You never feel rushed. Marisol is one of the best colorists I've ever had. Liz has helped me take care of my curls and bring them back to life. I highly recommend She Goes To Your Head.

Nice people, great cuts. Price has recently risen. I wanted to update this rating. I was here about a week before I started sheltering. Got such a great haircut that my hair is still decent, with only a clip or two on my part, especially the bangs. I'll see you when things get reopened safely. Glad you're still in business!
