I've been coming here since I moved to Connecticut in 2022, mainly to get my roots done at an Aveda salon. I've had every stylist there almost, and they've all been wonderful (though I mainly see Kevon). Yesterday I got my courage up to let Kevon cut my hair — I've been letting it grow since I moved here, mainly because I get anxious about haircuts. Kevon did a wonderful job and I'm so happy with what I have! I also appreciate how everyone in the salon always banters with each other; they all seem to truly enjoy each other and their jobs. It makes a big difference! If you want to pay reasonable prices to people who will actually listen to and care about you, you can't go wrong. And Rosalia's shampoos and massages are a real treat, too!

My color and cut(s) are perfection! Tina is excellent and I am always pleased with her work. Her staff is wonderful too! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, an overall very poor experience at the salon. I went to Shear Cut on the recommendation of another friend who sees a different stylist than I was given. I had Jordana. I requested an all-over color change, and after spending over 6 hours in the chair I left with a full head of highlights that were all different colors. The process left my hair dry and damaged from the bleaching and my cut was very uneven. I mentioned to the salon that I was unhappy with the service and I was again given the same stylist, who "fixed" my hair by dying it a fun color. While it was a slight improvement, it is not what I paid hundreds of dollars for, nor spent a total of 8+ hours sitting in a chair for. Kevin did an amazing job with my very thin and fine hair. He took time to listen to my requests and delivered a great cut—took great care to get it right! Jordanna did a goog job with waxing. I also got a terrific shampoo. Everyone was very careful with my shoulder because I had recent surgery. Excellent salon and very happy to have found Kevon!!!

My first time here I was super nervous about cut my hair I didn’t want to cut my length I just wanted a lot of layers . From the moment I walked in they made me feel so comfortable. Everyone was so nice and the owner was amazing you can tell they love there job . My cut was Perfect . Kevon was my stylist amazing job super talented thank again .
